I started a new class yesterday.
American history! Yay....
Maybe I'd enjoy it more if it wasn't online. I just hate studying for something I don't get to show off for. I mean, in a class room you can grace your fellow students with the vast knowledge you've aquired during the course. In other words, it's easier to show off.
Don't get me wrong, doing schoolwork in my pajamas is definitely a plus (I should know, I was homeschooled for the last 6 years). It's just that... I get lonely. So during breaks between my work, I bug my friends with endless goofy texts and try to make then laugh.
The truth is that there is really nothing like taking a class with one of your besties.
You're stuck in a classroom for a certain period of time. When normally you'd be bored, you in fact are not!
Simply because your best friend is making faces at you from across the room.
Or they drop a pencil that somehow ends up flying across the room.
Or they're caught of guard by a question from the professor.... At which point you totally loose it and try to hold in your laughter as best you can.
I miss that. It might just be because I'm mean and cruel and enjoy a joke at my best friend's expense.
But if you have a bestie, you understand this is the point.
The more you humiliate and laugh at one another the closer you become.
But I'm stuck.
At home.
Bored.
Hoping beyond hope that one of my friends will pause their busy lives to text me back....
Or that I won't fall asleep on the keyboard.
