Last time I talked about stereotypes, except that I never actually used that word because I thought it was cliche.
Or maybe I just forgot to.
But that's not really important.
Anyway, I was walking into my local fast food hang out (which is a place that doesn't serve cow meat), having forgotten that I was still wearing my sister's music note earrings. I had three different people in that restaurant alone ask if I play an instrument (I actually play piano, but this isn't really the point). Then I walked into the grocery store, and a lady stopped and asked me again. I thought it was cool until it started getting creepy.
That's when my sister pointed out the earrings.
Okay, so maybe it was a major blond moment, but I need something to help balance out all this awesomeness.
In the long run, I suppose sometimes it's good to be put back in my place every once in awhile. I tend to get cocky, and when that happens I end up doing face palms for days after.
"Did I really say that?"
"Did I really hit the filing cabinet, push my sister into a bush, and hit my head on the roof within a two minute time span?"
"Did I really just get a B- on that paper I should have gotten an A on?"
Alright, that last one was just a little cocky in and of itself.
In conclusion, don't take yourself too seriously. Everyone should laugh at themselves every once in awhile.
Take it from someone with more than enough experience.
